  • One Happy Customer!!! I remodeled my kitchen over a year ago and can say with 100% confidence the smartest decision I made on this project was to buy my appliances from Sewell. I am not a contractor that brings recurring business to Sewell, nor am I a large firm that Sewell could refer to as a major account. I am simply one individual who bought one set of appliances for one kitchen remodel project. I’ve had recurring problems with one of the appliances. Sewell was always there for warranty repair during the warranty period. After the warranty period they continued to represent my interests to the manufacturer on an appliance that was still problematic. Last Monday the appliance once again failed and I had out of town guests arriving Friday. I called Sewell with my dilemma. That Thursday, the Sewell installation team arrived with a brand new out of the box replacement, despite it being well beyond the warranty period. When I bought my appliances from Sewell, they said their business model is to do right by their customers. Many businesses say this as a marketing ploy or sales pitch and I am sure you’ll agree few, if any, live up to these words. I am convinced that customer advocacy is not only a business model for Sewell, it is part of their DNA. I cannot imagine buying appliances anywhere else. The Sewell team always makes me feel like I am their biggest customer!

    I wanted to let you know how impressed and appreciative I am to Eddie. My washer petered out and as a single mom with a teenage daughter, I was under the gun to find something quickly that met all of my requirements (i.e. solid quality with a few extra features). My existing set lasted roughly 12 years and I wanted to find something with an excellent track record that I could purchase and not have to worry about for at least another decade, while secretly hoping it would do a better job and make doing laundry a little less of a chore.

    Eddie is so knowledgeable, patient and an excellent resource. His customer service is exceptional and I am very grateful for all of his help. I’m sure customer loyalty is very important in your business and I would not hesitate to send anyone your direction. Again, it’s employees like Eddie that make all of the difference!

  • The service department is the best. I have been calling Sewell for repairs on my appliances for 18 years. They are well trained and professional. They have fixed washing machines, dishwashers and ovens. Sometimes they can tell you how to fix something over the phone. I say 5 star service!!

  • Troy, I was in there the other day asking about my Asko T700 dryer and you took a great deal of time with me, doing research. You also had a technician call me with advice. Please share my thanks with him as his suggestion appears to have me back in action.

    He told me there is a rubber covered button on the back of the unit that resets a relay for the heating unit. When I described the front panel button behavior, he suggested it may also need replacement. I pulled the dryer out so I could get at the reset, pressed it, and then fired up the dryer for 15 minutes. The front button worked fine, and the dryer turned & got hot. So far, so good.

    Normally, when I make non-trivial purchases, more than $50, I aggressively pursue price since so few places really offer good service any more. I make exception with ya’ll at Sewell. I don’t even look at anyone else. Knowing I can walk in or call, and be sure of getting honest, informed advice and guidance, and top quality appliances takes a lot off my shoulders so I happily return to you again and again.

    I still intend to visit Lyanne to talk about eventual replacement of my elderly washer & dryer, though I hope to forestall that day as long as possible.

  • We came in to Sewell Appliance on 10/03/2015 to purchase a Speed Queen washer and dryer. When we arrived we were greeted by Charlie, with cookies and drinks. We told Charlie what we wanted and he immediately told us that the item is high demand and that there will be a delay. We knew these items are what we wanted so we were completely fine with that. Mr. Sewell then directed towards our salesman Ed ( I think that was his name ) to show us the washers and dryers and give us the details and differences of them. Mr. Sewell and Ed were very knowledgeable, helpful, attentive and most of all welcoming. This was the first big appliance purchase we have made in our 13 years of marriage, and purchasing the washer and dryer from Sewell’s made the buying experience and the wait so much better. As of today 10/19/2015, our washer and dryer are in stock and will be scheduled for delivery this week. In the future, Sewell’s will be the only place we will shop for appliances.
